I’M CARRIE POSTMA
Hey Sister,
I'm a California native, now living in the cozy suburbs of Portland, Oregon, with my first kiss (the absolute love of my life). Together, we’ve raised three incredible kids and spend our days doing our best to love and serve the people around us. Life is full, a little messy, and totally beautiful→
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m so glad you’re here.
Here is where my heart is…
I want to show up with creativity, honesty, and compassion in the world around me. If I do that well, my hope is that it helps you feel more connected to God, more aware of beauty, and a little less alone as you find your way, then I’m doing what I’m meant to do.
HOW IT STARTED
And how it’s going
Since I was old enough to hold a pair of scissors, I’ve been chasing all things creative.
From handmaking stationery as a kid to launching a scrapbook manufacturing company as an adult, creativity has always been at the heart of my story. I earned a degree in Interior Design and (accidentally but wholeheartedly) found my way into the world of graphic design a few years later.
After years of creative exploration and hands-on experience across multiple industries, I turned my graphic design hobby into a full-time business, launching ink & mouse studio in 2011. Almost two decades later, I closed my boutique studio to focus on WE Elevate PNW and to pursue the next thing God has for me.

Thanks for stopping by and spending a little time here. I hope you found something that felt familiar, encouraged you, or helped you to feel a bit more connected— if even just to another human trying to figure it out too. If you’d like to reach out, I’d love to hear from you. And if you’re craving more honest, joy-filled reflections, you can always head over to the Joy Journal.
