Made with Care
My photos could barely capture the beauty of Christopher Marley’s installation as I walked through his exhibit at a local museum. His work is made from an almost unbelievable collection of real creatures from land and sea, all carefully arranged to bring creation to life on canvas.
He takes what God has already made and invites us to see it in a new way. Walking through the exhibit feels like stepping into another world, one where you naturally slow down because every detail begs to be noticed.
The textures, the colors, the sizes, the variety. It was all mesmerizing. I found myself moved to tears as I stood there studying the details of each creature. I kept thinking, My God, You put so much care into every single thing. Every color, every pattern, every feather and scale has a purpose. Nothing is accidental. Everything is intentional.
And that same God created us with the same care and creativity.
You are not rushed. You are not an afterthought. You are His masterpiece, formed to reflect His beauty, love, power, and glory. If God paid such close attention to the wings of a bird or the pattern of a seashell, imagine how much intention He placed into creating you.
Sometimes I need reminders like that.
The beauty of God’s creation is just outside our door. The leaves in the yard, the flowers blooming, or the birds flying by. It’s a beautiful invitation to pause, wonder, and remember who the Creator is, and who we are to Him.
